The cub was now halfway out of the crack, dangling in the net above the dark, churning water. But its weight pulled the net against a jagged edge of ice. The rope began to fray where it dragged across the sharp lip. Elsa spotted the danger at once. “Watch the rope,” she shouted urgently.
