The plan seemed simple enough on paper to him. Dig down about 2 feet deep, line the ground with a tarp to keep moisture in, then mix in fresh compost and plant the first round of tomato seedlings. Daniel was no expert gardener, but he had watched plenty of videos online and felt confident enough to proceed.
