Harbormaster Erik Lindgren was the first official to respond. He’d managed the port for nearly two decades and had never seen anything like it. The ship had no running lights, no visible crew, and no flag. The name on the stern had been painted over, though traces of Cyrillic lettering were still faintly visible beneath the grime.
