John nodded to himself as he put down the phone and waited anxiously for the coast guard to arrive. Not knowing that when they did, things would quickly take a turn for the worse.
About twenty minutes later, John heard the sound of a roaring boat engine. “They’re here,” he said out loud as he focused on the sound.
