Juma quietly stepped out of the jeep and motioned for Hannah to follow him with extreme care. He grabbed a long wooden walking stick from the back of the vehicle and gripped it firmly in his hand. Hannah clutched her heavy camera against her chest and stepped down onto the dry African grass nervously.
