Two dark figures were sprinting wildly across the back lawn, heading toward the old wooden fence at the edge of the property. They were both dressed entirely in black clothes, with hoods pulled up tightly over their heads. Daniel could not see their faces clearly, but he watched them flee in the moonlight.
