Dr. Chen carefully lifted the fox out of the box and placed it gently on the examination table. The animal did not resist or panic, which caught her off guard. It didn’t surprise Mark anymore, though. It was the same odd behavior the animal had portrayed with him earlier. “Can you tell anything already?” he asked.
