The bear kept a gentle pace that Sarah could easily follow while carrying the sleeping baby badger safely. It avoided thick brush and steep drops, almost as if it was choosing the easiest path specifically for her comfort. After about fifteen minutes of walking, the bear stopped near a fallen oak tree.
