The orca led them north, angling slightly toward shore. Tom kept checking his charts. They were moving into waters he knew well.
It was a stretch of coastline that ran up past a series of rocky inlets and kelp forests that had historically been rich feeding grounds for sea otters. He had taken tours along this stretch many times.
